Serving tables
Your phone is signed in as a server. You take orders at the table and send them straight to the kitchen. No running back and forth with a notepad.
Taking an order
- 1Tap New order.
- 2Tap the items. If something has options, like how the steak's cooked, you'll be asked.
- 3Make sure Dine-in is picked and type the table number.
- 4Tap Send to kitchen.
The order shows up on the kitchen screen right away, with the table on it.
When food is ready
Keep an eye on the Ready column. When your table's order is there, take it out, then tap the order so the board knows it's been served.
Checking out the table
When the table wants the bill, find their order and tap Checkout. Pay with card reader lets them choose the tip on a reader with a screen. QR pay lets them pay on their own phone. Cash or other is when they paid you directly: choose the tip they left, or no tip.
Good to know
Don't see Checkout anywhere? Your phone is set to take orders only. That's normal if a cashier handles payment. Send the table up to the counter.
