ServeSlate You publish a food menu or a service list to a URL, QR, print, and TV. Guests open it in the browser they already have. One Site is one business. Pick a type of business — the words change, the dashboard does not.
You choose deposit now, pay in full now, or pay at the desk. After a deposit they can pay the rest on the same ticket or at the desk. Vendor screens say payments and payout account — never processor names.
Questions we actually get
FAQ
Short answers. One Site is one business. Food & drink is a type of business, not the whole product.
What is ServeSlate?+
You publish a food menu or a service list to a URL, QR, print, and TV. Guests open it in the browser they already have. One site is one business.
We already have a website. Why another list URL?+
Keep the website for the story. Put this link on the counter, in the bio, or on Google when you want the live prices and sold-out items there too. You update it without a developer.
Do guests need to download an app?+
No. They scan the QR. The list opens in the phone browser they already have. There is no guest app and no App Store step.
Will this replace our domain or Google listing?+
No. You get a public URL you choose to share. We do not take over your domain or your Google Business Profile. Paste the link where it helps — or leave it on the QR only.
What if import misreads the list?+
Import is a first draft. You review names, prices, and wording, then publish. Guests only see the snapshot you put live.
Is this a POS? Can guests pay in the list?+
It is not a POS. On Plus they add to an order, booking, or class signup. You choose deposit now, pay in full now, or pay at the desk. After a deposit they can pay the rest on the same ticket or at the desk.
Can we take dine-in or visits from the same list?+
Yes. Food & drink presets can take pickup or dine-in on the same QR ticket, with an optional table. Service presets take bookings or class signups from the same published list. Same browser, no extra app.
Can lunch and dinner share one QR?+
Yes. Split the list into categories (lunch, dinner, drinks — or cuts, color, add-ons). Guests open one link and move between sections. You are not maintaining two sites.
What do people see while we are still editing?+
Drafts stay in the builder. The public URL and QR show the last published snapshot until you publish again. You can tidy a special in the morning without it appearing mid-service.
We have more than one business. Do we rebuild each time?+
Copy a catalog to a new site, then change hours, address, and the items that differ. Keep one brand logo across the account, or give a site its own mark. One Site is one business.
When do photos show on the live list?+
Item photos are on paid plans. Free is for drafting and preview. After you publish on a paid plan, photos you add (or that import can match) appear on the guest list, TV, and print.
Will this look like every other QR list?+
You pick a theme that matches the trade — food & drink palettes or service palettes — plus type, density, and an optional background photo. Print stays paper-only. The goal is a list that fits the room, not a generic template.
Who bills the subscription?+
Codenary is the merchant of record. Vendor screens say payments and payout account.
Is this a restaurant product?+
Food & drink is one type of business. The same builder publishes a service list for salon, spa, fitness, and professional trades.
Do bookings, classes, and staff use the same product?+
Yes. One dashboard, one look, one published list. Bookings add staff and a calendar. Classes add instructors, sessions, and a roster. The catalog builder and guest QR stay the same.
