Go-live checklist
You've published. Before the first real customer walks in, run through this list. It's the stuff people usually remember five minutes too late.
Put the QR code where people will see it
On Publish, the card at the top (Online food menu, Online service list, or Online class list) has your customer link, with View live page, Copy link, and Print for a paper copy of the whole list with the QR at the bottom. Below it you'll find everything you need to get the page in front of people:
- The QR code card has Open full screen for a tablet or screen, Download PNG for your own flyers, and Print for a sign on the counter or window.
- Table QR codes has Print table cards, which makes a card for each table. When customers scan one, their order arrives already marked with that table.
- Social media images gives you ready-to-post pictures of your page.
- TV screens has Set up a TV, which opens Devices so you can sign in a TV. TV screens
Sign in your screens
Sign in the kitchen screen, the counter tablet, and any server phones. How to sign in a device
Do a test order
- 1Grab your own phone and scan the QR like a customer would.
- 2Place an order.
- 3Check it shows up on the board, and on the kitchen screen.
- 4Move it through to Ready, then check it out with Cash or other.
- 5Then cancel it, or close it unpaid, so it doesn't sit in your reports.
Tip
Five minutes now saves you from finding out at lunch rush that the kitchen tablet fell asleep.
Decide how people pay
If customers will pay online, finish Payouts first. Until then, online payments won't start, but cash and anything you record as Cash or other work from day one.
Turn the sound on
The order board can chime when something new comes in. Tap Sound on on the board.
Heads up
Browsers only allow sound after you've tapped the page once, so do it at the start of each shift.
